In response to accusations of layers disobeying orders to play local cricket and get ready for the Indian Premier League (IPL) on their own, the BCCI reportedly decided to change the remuneration of Team India players, according to an Indian Express story.

According to the report, players who participate in every Test series in a year would get an extra bonus. This incentive is expected to be implemented after the conclusion of the current IPL season.

For instance, in addition to the yearly retainer contract, an individual should get extra rewards if they participate in every Test series over a given year. This is to guarantee that more players show up for red-ball cricket. This would be an extra benefit of playing Test cricket, Indian Express was informed by a BCCI insider.

At the moment, the BCCI pays three lakh INR for T20 internationals, six lakh INR for ODIs, and fifteen lakh INR for each Test.
