From Chhattisgarh to National Television: Srishti Gupta’s Journey

Every journey has a defining moment. For Srishti Gupta, it arrived unexpectedly during her college years in Chhattisgarh.

Encouraged by a few friends, she decided to participate in Miss Chhattisgarh without even informing her family. What began as a spontaneous decision soon became a turning point when she went on to win the title. More than the recognition, the experience gave her something far more valuable—confidence. It changed the way she saw herself and opened her mind to possibilities she had never seriously considered before.

That confidence led her to audition for Femina Miss India, where she represented Chhattisgarh and emerged among the top finalists. The pageant journey introduced her to the world of modelling and opened doors to new opportunities, inspiring her to pursue the field professionally.

As she continued her studies, Srishti moved to Mumbai and began working in ramp shows and print campaigns. She had the opportunity to work with renowned designers and brands including Anju Modi, Yatin Gandhi, TBZ and Gitanjali Jewellers. While the glamour of the industry was exciting, the reality behind the scenes demanded discipline, consistency and resilience.

At the same time, she balanced work commitments while attending theatre workshops on weekends. Looking back, theatre became one of the most important foundations of her journey. It taught her that acting was not simply about being seen, but about understanding people, emotions and stories. More importantly, it helped her discover a genuine love for the craft.

Like many actors, her journey was built one audition at a time. Over the years, she worked across music videos, advertisements, short films and digital campaigns. Her work included the Tata Punch EV commercial, an appearance in CID, and collaborations with leading lifestyle and beauty brands through digital content and social media campaigns.

Her television journey began with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, followed by Mangal Lakshmi, where she portrayed a layered character with grey shades. Each role brought new challenges and reinforced her belief that longevity in the industry comes not from chasing visibility, but from continuously improving as a performer.

Today, Srishti is seen as a parallel lead in Ishq Junooni, produced by Rashmi Sharma Productions. The role marks an important chapter in her career and reflects a journey built on patience, preparation and steady growth.

Those who know Srishti often describe her as grounded, quietly determined and deeply connected to her roots. Despite building her career in Mumbai, she remains closely connected to Chhattisgarh, its culture and the values she grew up with. She credits her family and upbringing for keeping her balanced through every stage of her journey.

As she looks ahead, Srishti hopes to continue exploring characters that are relatable, emotionally honest and memorable. For her, success is not defined by a single role or milestone, but by the opportunity to keep learning, growing and evolving with every project.

Today, as audiences watch her in Ishq Junooni, she sees this chapter not as a destination, but as another step in a journey she is still building. From a college student who secretly entered a beauty pageant to a performer seen on national television, the path has been anything but predictable. Yet if there is one thing her story reflects, it is the belief that growth happens one opportunity, one lesson and one role at a time.
